Daara

What it does
Listen to a reciter, repeat the verse the way children do at the daara, then recite. Daara listens and marks every word, right on your phone. Verses you have learned come back just as they start to fade.
Who it's for
Anyone memorising the Quran, alone or with a teacher, and families organising a khatm.
Three things to know
- Recitation checked word by word
- The text hides, and each word comes back when you say it right.
- Reviews at the right time
- Spaced repetition: a verse returns before you forget it.
- A shared khatm
- “For our father”, “Thursday dahira”: send the link on WhatsApp and everyone takes a juz under their first name.

Your data
Your voice never leaves the phone: recognition runs in the browser with a small 40 MB model, downloaded once. An account is optional and only syncs your progress across devices.
What it doesn't do
Daara does not replace a teacher. It checks words, not tajwid rules yet, and only knows the Hafs reading.
